Treasured 1-1s: Tom

 Happy Aloha Friday, once again!

As I was sketching out my 1-1s to publish, I realized how many Chris' and Toms' I've met in my life! :) Common male names in America, no doubt.

Today's blog post is dedicated to a special Tom I met recently, a retired Navy Veteran, who's quickly became family to me (true Ohana). With his vast range of experiences, observant nature, and listening ear, he’s been both an unpaid therapist for me and a local eatery consultant, often treating me to some great local finds! 

It's been wonderful to get to know Tom and also see his contributions to humanity and how he has been a true friend to many.

Despite, a few decades of age between us, we are both incredibly wise, kindred spirits.
