Faith Over Fear Belief Systems: Quality Time Spent with Steve

 Aloha Happy Saturday, Reader,

A couple of years ago, I found myself in a natural writing frenzy. Deep in trauma healing, often I'd turn to pen & paper to process strong emotions that would emerge, as I divulged crimes committed against me to an incredibly, gentle listening ear, via Zoom, over a thousand miles away. I fit these sessions into a busy schedule and only mentioned the counseling sessions to a few people. It was an extra challenging period for me, in many ways, but I did absorb some healing and extracted a plethora of tools and resources.

It was during this late 2022 fall season that I not only wrote and processed some deep emotions, but concurrently published many articles & resources on my website www.ultraheidi.com, with the goal of assisting others who many be also dealing with residual trauma.

Today, I share with you greater insight on my article: "Faith Over Fear", which is no longer available because my ultraheidi.com domain expired in September of 2023. I refused to purchase it again at a whopping $2,975 sticker price. (Yep, another blackballing pressure technique imposed on me by beyond evil corrupt men and women.)

Could I have repurchased it to maintain all my articles I spent years publishing? All of the free hours I spent crafting and sharing this content, out of the pure kindness of my heart? Sure, but instead I used the funds to pay rent at my 3 Blu Harbor apartment in Redwood City, CA. When you push a woman like me to the degree I was pushed in September of 2023, you bet I wasn't going to direct my resources to more community service.

The core premise of this article was that one system cannot exist without the other. When I emailed the final draft before publishing it on my website, it got great reception from my mentor/therapist/friend, Steve, who immediately replied back: "Nailed it, Heidi!". Leaning on his confidence in me and advice from this time period of my life saved me from extra mental distress after I left my ex & toxic community members in late 2023. The lessons on humanity we reviewed and his feedback on all of my therapeutic writing over 2 years ago, came in especially handy in the 10 months or so following in September of 2023, when I had to primarily stick up for myself. This was a time when no man or woman in my trusted community would truly step forward and do the right thing.

If you'd like to read this particular article, you could email Steve King for a copy. (Although, his email can get backed up!)

A secondary option to obtain an article snippet would be to visit "ultraheidi" on Instagram, where I often gave previews of my worldwide contributions and provided links to my list of resources.

FAST forward to today, when I choose to lean into faith versus fear once again at a time when people are still trying to mess with me and not come forward with justice. For the official record, I wouldn't need all this extra healing, if I got actual answers, justice and a legal CAPITAL DIVORCE.

If you're curious, while Steve & I didn't agree on everything, it was only the small things, like nutritional preferences! I often think of us enjoying a breakfast in August of 2023, before I left Penticton, BC, when I ordered an Americano (in this cafe it's called actually called a "Canadiano"). He was kind to do the gentlemen thing of paying for a female friend's coffee, too. But yeah, all of the toxic systems in America, wowweeee, we sure had some solid conversations and shared head nods on what a travesty the US legal system and feds were in/are - and this is going back in time!

As far as my greatest teachers in life, Steve is in my top 5, no doubt. By the way, we are both Ultraman Canada finishers and you bet, I joked on him I'm the faster swimmer, when I compared our race times for fun! But yeah, in his heyday, wow, what an athlete he was! If you look up our finishing times, he definitely beat me in run and bike segments, but I got him on the swim. But both of us being humble athletes, when praised for our accomplishments, we’d both often comment to people curious about this event: “but look at how fast that other woman or man" was/is, highlighting others’ speedier accomplishments. We've got a lot and common and I do hope he is well.

With Good Vibes,

Heidi
